Ordered on Doordash fish was requested extra crispy fried. I got light skinned and soft. Hush puppies were fried like my fish should have been. Look how light this fish is.. Second time this happened got partial refund from DD...

Could use improvement but glad some gumbo is available. Banana Pudding terrible. Old cookie no topping bad Banana. Tip. Cut up Banana in bowl add a little lemon juice. Just enough to cover. Cook the Pudding on stove. Add cookie when ready to serve. Last step. Gumbo. Too much oil. Rice on side not in the mix. Shrimp and chicken choice or seafood. File as a condiment.

Rating was 3.5 stars. Had the med catfish basket. The fish was kinda under seasoned (got a little more of the seasoning towards end of 2nd piece).size was large compared to most places so props on that. The saving grace was the Tartar sauce. A sour sauce with dill pickles like it should be. The hushpuppies tastes generic, the fries though those were awesome. The tea was great also. Staff was friendly.

The order of small fried catfish, red beans and rice and a large bowl of gumbo was scrumptious today. TheFull of all the meats as described in menu. Not my regular Sunday meal but what I desired today. The fried fish is lightly breadedand the tarter sauce I really love it. Need more hush puppies fried just right.

Ruby was the first smiling face when we came in!! Newbies here and she was so kind & helped with our yummy selections. I had the mild boiled shrimp & it was a little spicy for me so l will be asking for none of the spices on it. The hubby had the fish & shrimp ~ crunchy & so fresh tasting. Banana pudding was to die for! Ivan (manager) & Amber (GM) were both so pleasant & friendly. We will definitely be back!!
